Ohio salvage industry: bill could cost jobs | Sandusky Register

Then some of these salvaged vehicles would go right back out on the street without the safety of being checked out by state requirements placed on regulated state sellers. I am not sure that is such a good idea.

If you happen to buy one of them from an unlicensed, unregulated seller, to whom do you go. You are stuck with it with no recourse but court who will stand by that "as is" clause and buyer beware, when you have the state regulation with buying from a licensed dealer all along.

This is a stupid move if they allow cars to be purchsed like this. NOPE, not a good idea at all.
